Together with the ngo Cordaid and reporters of the Magazine ‘Zin’, Karlijn and her mother were selected to make a trip to Ethiopia to meet people from the organisation Mary Joy Aid Through Development in Addis Abeba, and the Community of Volunteers for the World in Bahir Dar. With a percentage of of 2 – 3.5%, being 420.000 – 1,3 million people living with hiv/aids, Ethiopia has a real problem. Karlijn asked WEB.foundation for some LOVE.check games and cd’s The Story of Bobo and wrote her exciting story for the magazine Zin October 2007.
