Dear Gemma and Karin
I
am so pleased that this project went off so well. I was impressed
with your talk to our Rotary Club last year and as things
moved so fast, here we are with the project completed. What
a lot of hard work put in by Edda, she is to be congratulated!
My wife and I attended one of the seminars and we were fascinated
by the approach to HIV/AIDS through your games. We know that
you have made a difference to our population and thank you
most heartly.
There was a huge seminar in South Africa yesterday about the
state of HIV/AIDS in South Africa and the numbers quoted are
quite horrifying, it is sincerely hoped that this project
will bring safety to some children.
Yours sincerely

Dini Bos wrote about her trip to South Africa: ‘
The LOVE.check game as well as the cd ‘The Story of
Bobo’ were well received. The animation was shown for
adults and teeners, but we remarked quite some hesitation
among the adults, some became even emotional because they
recognized so many facets.
We played the LOVE.check game with the teenergirls, who liked
it very much an then left the game with a Canadian nurse who
will certainly make good use of it. I admire the women in
South Africa, they carry such a big burden, but stay positive.
South Africa still has a long way to go, but young people
are now more open, and the WEB.foundation is contributing
to this.’
En Nhlanhla Nxumalo schrijft:
We have now distributed about 4000 of the Love. check games
and I must tell you they are a hit with our people and I have
found it extremely useful when I play it with my daughter
who is 9 years old.
Kind Regards
