LOVE.check is an educational game that has been developed by
the WEB,foundation for children in countries where the risk
of hiv and aids is very high. Uptill now the game has been developed
in Southern Africa, the Netherlands and Thailand, together with
experts from the country itself. The LOVE.check game is a memory
game in which situations are depicted that give cause to speak
about subjects like falling in love, friendship, sexuality and
hiv/aids. It is of vital importance that children know that
they can and must protect themselves against aids. The game
is being distributed in and outside of the educational system.
The WEB.foundation aims to stimulate worldwide communication
about hiv/aids by educating young people before they become
sexually active. The foundation does this through the communication
games LOVE.check and FAMILY.matters, and the animation cd ‘The
Story of Bobo’.
