The WEB.foundation wants to inform young people timely of the risks of unsafe sex and the risks of hiv/aids. Aids need not exist, it can be prevented!

Goal and means
The WEB.foundation aims to contribute to the prevention of hiv/aids by encouraging young people to talk about these and related subjects before they become sexually active. To reach its objective the WEB.foundation develops, produces and disseminates educational tools. One of these tools is the LOVE.check game, based on the principle of memory and consisting of pictures related to the local culture.

‘Teenagers start having sex younger. At the same time the average age of marriage is rising. An army of 1,2 billion teenagers on their way to adolenscence, in an ever changing world, is confronted with the growing risks involving their sexual health. The UN foundation insists of better education, even for children. Even before children become sexually active, they should know the risks involved. It is their strength and sexual behaviour that will decide the development of the HIV virus in future decades. (From an annual report of the United Nations)
