The Story of Bobo, ‘Be HIV free’ and ‘Be AWARE, take CARE’
In the previous newsletter we mentioned this colourful and appealing animation presented in April 2007 and financed by the charity arm of Sir Richard Branson’s Virgin Group. The first part ‘Be HIV free’ explains how the HIV-virus works while the second part, ‘Be AWARE, take CARE’, deals with the functions and importance of medicines that HIV infected people should to take. The cover contains a quiz on hiv/aids, and the whole animation is in English and French. The cd can be ordered from the WEB.foundation for Euro 7,50. Just send an e.mail with your address to info@lovecheck.org

The LOVE.check game
The LOVE.check game Southern Africa has found its way to countries including South Africa, Namibia, Swaziland, Malawi and Kenya. We are getting positive reactions.
The Dutch version of the LOVE.check game has also been distributed in Surinam and Curaçao, where the governor himself has presented the game to the schools.
An evaluation is now being held in Thailand to look into the effects of the Thai LOVE.check game. PLAN the Netherlands supports this evaluation financially.
The WEB.foundation is now taking steps to introduce LOVE.check in the People’s Republic of China.

LOVE.check for Southern Africa
Yes!! 31.000 AIDS prevention games have been printed in South Africa and are now on their way to a big number of organizations and schools in South Africa and surrounding countries. Nice, colourful, square boxes with explanation in 4 languages: English, Afrikaans, Zulu and Tswana. We are getting many enthusiastic reactions of which you can find some at the end of this newsletter. This gives us, at WEB.foundation, the feeling that we are on the right track and that it is worth the effort of going on… to other countries where education on HIV and aids still need lots of attention.

Bobo 2, Be AWARE, take CARE
More great news. Bobo 2 will soon be ready. This animation deals with the function and importance of medicines that HIV infected people have to take. The team that made Bobo 1, the animation about how the HIV virus works, has also realized Bobo 2 in a very appealing way. It has been translated in English and French. By means of an added quiz, the viewer/listener can test his/her knowledge about HIV and aids. This Bobo 2 CD could be realized through the great support of Sir Richard Branson of Virgin Unite, London. Bobo 1 and 2 will be presented in one cover. The launching will be on April 17 2007 at about 19.00 o’clock in the Sophia Children’s Hospital in Rotterdam. So keep this date in mind!!

LOVE.check for Surinam and The Netherlands Antilles
The WEB.foundation will send 60 AIDS prevention games to Surinam, and another 60 to the Netherlands Antilles. We have found some contact persons ready and happy to distribute the games to schools and organizations. The games are in the Dutch language and were especially developed for the Surinam and Caribbean people in the Netherlands. A Bobo 1 CD, about how the HIV virus works, will be sent along with the games.

Annual Reports
We did it! With the help of Sylvia Stijlen, the WEB.foundation has finished her annual report 2006. A combined report, from the start in 2003 until 2006, will follow soon. We are able present ourselves more efficiently to others now! A big step!

Business plan
An even bigger step is the business plan 2007-2008, written by Niek Stijlen with the help of Karin van Paassen and Marleen Engbersen. The title of the plan: ‘A Leap Forward’ speaks volumes. It gives a clear analysis of the WEB.foundation and a constructive view of the steps to be taken in the near future. The business plan and annual report will certainly help us to promote ourselves better.

Board members
As Caroline Schaap has not been available since August 2006, Saskia Roos took over and is now a board member. She will try her best to introduce the LOVE.check AIDS prevention game in China!

Other news
The evaluation of the Thai LOVE.check game is on its way and we hope it will be ready by summer 2007. PLAN has offered all support. An instruction DVD for the AIDS prevention game is being developed by Gemma Pagano, together with Karin van Paassen and Marleen Engbersen. The instruction will help teachers and educators to communicate with children about HIV an AIDS as careful as possible. Another project of WEB.foundation is a documentary titled: ‘Youngsters of Sixteen...’ focused on young people from different cultures who have been infected by HIV. Next time we’ll tell you more about this.

On behalf of everyone involved - the school principals, teachers and learners - thank you for this incredible gift that will hopefully help to develop a deeper understanding, openness and honesty about the HIV virus, its effect on our lives, and the lives of the people who are living with it. For us in our corner of the world, it cannot come soon enough, as we see daily the devastation that the virus is causing in our rural communities.
Trish Brauteseth, Director of Themba Club

Thank you so much – we have now received the LOVE.check games. They are SUPER and we are looking forward to handing them out to each Guiding Region.
Thank you for including GGASA in the list of benefactors from your project. I will let you know about the response from the recipients and how they have shared the games in their Regions in due course.
Kind regards, Rosemary Swemmer, National Director Girl Guides Association of South Africa

The games have been delivered to loveLife and we all so excited about them, we will definitely distribute them and are sure that they greatly enhance our HIV prevention work.
Thank you so much for all the effort and trouble you went through if providing us the games. I am confident they make a big difference in our country. Kind Regards, Nhlanhla

• News Summary

LOVE.check for Southern Africa
In May, two staff members of the WEB.foundation went to Johannesburg to prepare the printing of the new edition of LOVE.check for Southern Africa and to talk with the NGO’s about distribution and use of the games. It was a constructive journey and the organisations were very pleased with the improved version. After intensive use of the first limited version, the feedback provided us with a great deal of information for the improvement of LOVE.check. Thus, HIV inhibitors and teenage pregnancies are a point of interest now and also whites and light-coloured people have been included in the game. The game will appear in 4 languages: Zulu (also Xhosa can read this), South African, English and Sotho.

ATTENTION: the WEB.foundation will soon have a large edition of the game printed, which will cut the unit price considerably. Less than three euro! Please contact us as soon as possible if you want to purchase games for your organisation in one of the South African countries or if you know organisations that are interested in purchasing games. The larger the edition, the lower the unit price!
Also the design has been adapted. It is a square, flat box with a CD of the animation ‘Be HIV free-the Story of Bobo’ fitted in the top.

Wollebrand Cross
In February, the 6th Forest-Wollebrandcross was held in the Westland. The foundation granted 40,000 euro to the WEB.foundation. Thousands of people participated in the sports event. The WEB.foundation will spend the entire proceeds of the event on the printing expenses of the games for Southern Africa. (Also look under ‘press reports’.)

FAMILY.matters
The WEB.foundation has, by order of the HIV Vereniging Nederland, developed the game ‘FAMILY.matters’. The game is ready and will be distributed, from the end of August, via the HIV Treatment Centres. The instruction leaflet is in French, Dutch and English. The game has been developed in cooperation with the HIV Association, experiential experts and a team of the WEB.foundation, for families in which one or more persons are HIV +.
FAMILY.matters is also a memory game and it was made according to the same principle as LOVE.check, with the aim to support and stimulate the communication. Along with it, a brochure will appear titled: ‘You’re telling me!’

Students Communication Multimedia from Rotterdam for the WEB.foundation
During the first months of this year, three groups of students 3th year communication Multimedia Design of the ‘Hogeschool Rotterdam’ have developed and realized a project for the WEB.foundation, under supervision of their tutor Wil Adolfs. One group made a quiz for youngsters, with which they can test their knowledge about SOA’s. A second group made a game with which money for the education of children in Russia can be collected via the internet. A third group made a film called ‘Sophie juggles’ about a girl who becomes HIV+. It is a kind of video clip or short movie, accompanied by music composed by the students themselves. In May this year, the film had its premiere during a meeting of the WEB.foundation in Dauphine in Amsterdam. The WEB.foundation has plans for the future with this film.

News Summary

  • On 18 March, the WEB.foundation had a presentation at the 50th anniversary of the Novib at the Westergas-terrein in Amsterdam. There was a great deal of interest for the presentation of LOVE.check.
  • The WEB.foundation has presented itself at a conference of HIV nurses on 15 June.
  • The Aids Fund has made 5,000 euro available to the WEB.foundation, to finance the research phase of a movie.

Last year the 5th Forest Wollebrandcross netted €156.000 for those charitable objectives.
The event and its aims enjoy a great deal of attention from the press, schools and interested companies. You can find the extensive activity programs planned around February 11 on www.wollebrandcross.nl
The WEB.foundation will use all proceeds on the LOVE.games for Southern Africa.

Lottery tickets sale.
You can also give us tremendous support by buying lottery tickets to help us in our aims.

LOVE.check for Southern Africa.
In 2006 the highest priority is given to publish a large consignment of games for Southern Africa. The WEB.foundation is trying everything possible to amass sufficient funds to make this possible. The printing and distribution in Africa, is expected to de done in March/April 2006. There are several small and large initiatives to gather these funds.

LOVE.check for the Netherlands.
The development of LOVE.check for the Netherlands was started in August, in co-operation with the Dutch Aids Fund. The game will mainly be used by members of the African and/or Caribbean community.

Organizations may order the game @ €17,50 (excluding VAT and delivery) from the WEB.foundation. However, organizations manned by volunteers may receive these games only at package and handling costs and only until supplies run out. No more than four games per organization can be ordered.
The game is also published on our website.
Please email info@lovecheck.org. The game is sponsored by the Dutch Aids Fonds.

FAMILY.matters
The game FAMILY.matters was developed by the WEB.foundation for the Dutch Hiv Society.
It will be used by families that have one or more HIV positive family members. The game was assembled and photographed in co-operation with the Dutch HIV society, experienced experts and a team from the WEB.foundation.
FAMILY.matters is also a memory based game and follows the same principles as LOVE.check: the aim to stimulate and support communication. But here the game’s premise is life with HIV. How to live with it, what may you expect in school, of your friends, will you confide in them or not, how do you cope with your feelings, etc.?
This game will be printed in January.

The video: “Be HIV free- the story of Bobo
This English version of the animated CD depicting the of the HIV virus, can still be ordered by depositing €7,50 on Postbank 9314137 of the WEB.foundation, Amsterdam and by mentioning “animation”.

December 1st. World Aids Day.
The WEB.foundation was represented in the Amsterdam RAI on World Aids Day. The games and the CD “Be HIV free” were very well received. We have made many new relations and met many acquaintances. It was a great success.

The profit of the auction “Breekbaar”
On February 14, 2005 Valentines Day, the auction “Breekbaar” took place in the Dordrechts Museum. Products were auctioned from different Dutch designers working in the field of industrial design. They all offered one or more of there products for free. Gallery Intermezzo organized the auction and exhibit for the commencement of their 21st anniversary. Loes Luca, the auctioneer, sold almost all of his products with an added flair and sense of humor. The net sale of the auction was € 14.000,- The WEB.foundation allocate the total amounts earned and print a LOVE.check for Sub Sahara Africa. Many people graciously volunteered for the entire project and the board of the WEB.foundation would like to express their gratitude to all who participated.

An animated film about HIV
On Monday June 20 the animated film ‘Be HIV Free - The Story of Bobo’ will premiere at Academy of the Arts in Hilversum. The internationally acclaimed artist Marlene Dumas, originally from South Africa, will receive the first copy.

The film is a simple and colorful story, which displays the function of the HIV virus. The film was created by seven students at the Utrecht School of Arts, faculty Art Media and Technology department, under supervision of several specialists. The seven-minute film is in English and will be released on CD.

The idea for this film arose as a result of the many questions raised about the HIV virus by both children and adults who played the game LOVE check. The animated film is made especially for children in the southern part of Africa and children in Holland with African and Caribbean backgrounds. However, after a short test period the game turned out to be suitable for more diverse demographics as well as other cultures.

The internationally renowned Suzanna Lobrano submitted a short song especially for the film. The singer has a reputable fan base in large parts of Africa and is especially popular among children. Many other musicians as well as a children’s choir volunteered to submit music for the film. All of them are mentioned on the inset of the CD booklet. The WEB foundation is particularly grateful for their cooperation. After June 20 all the details regarding the film will be made public as well as the order information which will be available on the website. The animation has been financed by the AIDS foundation, Abbott BV and the WEB.foundation.

LOVE.check for the Netherlands
The WEB.foundation started the development of a game, which can be used in the Netherlands, mainly for people of African and Caribbean origin. Specifically for this demographic an interactive story was composed by a team of specialists. The visual for the interactive story were specifically taken from photographs produced by Adriaan Backer in February/March. The graphic design was handled and produced by Daniëlle Schaffelaars. As previously expected the game will be printed in July. The game will be available to organizations such as GGD's, reception centers, self-help organizations, HIV and AIDS counseling, etc. All details will be posted on the Internet as soon as possible. This project is financed by the AIDS foundation.

LOVE.check for Thailand
In January, in association with the Thai NGO Path in Bangkok, a LOVE.check developmental team created new scenario specifically for LOVE.check Thailand. In May on several locations in Bangkok, Thai actors, a photographer, and a graphic designer collaborated to produce the visuals for the interactive game. Both the physical attributes and the visual story of the game vary in comparison to the other versions of LOVE.check. However, the effective memory format of the game remains. This version is also suitable for neighboring countries such
as Laos, Cambodia and Myanmar (formerly Burma). In July, Path will introduce the game during the national AIDS conference in Bangkok. After the introduction the game will be made available in schools for educational health seminars as well as all of NGOs informational projects. The development and the printing of the game has been financed PLAN Nederland.

Plans for the future.
* Our highest priority is to distribute as many games as possible to territories in Southern Africa. The WEB.foundation will do everything to raise funds in order distribute as many games as possible. In the following newsletter more information will be made available.
* The WEB.foundation is developing a game that will be used by the HIV foundation for families with one or more members who are HIV positive

Employees
Sanne Limburg has reinforced the team of volunteers.
However, on an unfortunate note we must bid farewell to Robert Rouveroy who resigned because of health complications. For over two years he volunteered his free time to translate
every Dutch text into English for the WEB.foundation. We would also like to express our sincere appreciation to the Translators Guild.

Loes Luca, auctioneer for LOVE.check.
On Valentines' day, February 14, 2005, Loes Luca, while cracking jokes auctioned off more than 60 items by Dutch designers. The proceeds were destined for LOVE.check.
The Intermezzo Gallery in Dordrecht celebrated their 21st birthday with a gift for the occasion: the auction and the "Fragile" exhibition. Before the auction started, eighty people partook of the buffet and listened to the animated and spicy speech by politician Hedy d'Ancona. Mrs d'Ancona is also president of NOVIB and vice-chairman of OXFAM International, both underwriting the importance of prevention, starting with children.

Bidding on the designs was enthusiastic, varying from accessories and unmentionables to furniture, lamps and a rug, all donated to the cause by the designers. The marvellous happening was accompanied by much merriment for Loes Luca's efforts in selling the wares. Auction house A.Mak of Dordrecht provided assistance.

The proceeds were a big success. Within two hours the sale totalled Euro 10.660. These monies will go towards printing the games for English speaking countries in Southern Africa. But these proceeds do not represent the sum total. Gallery Intermezzo displays many designs for sale until March 12. The balance also accrues to LOVE.check.
The complete, unaltered text about the Intermezzo initiative follows below on the present month's site.

'FRAGILE'
Busy, busy, busy with planning new shows, visiting final exam shows, lobbying special vendors, advising would-be designers, building our future, in short, the daily responsibilities of a Gallery. A special year has passed almost unnoticed.

Gallery Intermezzo Dordrecht is 21 years young!

At last we are fully grown and this will be celebrated in an appropriate manner. Getting presents are part of a birthday but because giving is nicer than receiving, Intermezzo plans a surprise for others. On Valentines' Day, February 14, Intermezzo organizes an Auction in conjunction with the Dordrechts' Museum and Art Church, under the auspices of our special guest and auctioneer Loes Luca. Hedy d’Ancona, member of the Committee of Recommendation, politician, chairwoman of Novib and vice-president of Oxfam International.

The reason for choosing this Lovers' Day has to do with the recipient of the proceeds of that auction, LOVE.check, an aids-prevention game designed by the WEB.Foundation for primary school children in developing countries.

More than 60 designers are contributing their work for this Auction, without recompense. Some are beginning artists, like Uli Rapp, Nicolette Klerk, Tinkerbell, Bas Sala and Cindy Jeurissen, others are well-established designers, among others Claudy Jongstra, Hester van Eeghen, Chequita Nahar, Petra Hartman, Klaartje den Hartog and Simone van Bakel. This mixture of "ripe and green" representing the face of 21 years Intermezzo makes this Auction a one-time and special event. The theme is "FRAGILE", pointing to the final cause that will receive the proceeds of this happening.
Articles for this auction are of great variety: handbags, jewellery, fashion, ceramics, textiles, shoes. furniture, bric-a-brac etc.

The Auction is held in the Dordrechts' Museum on February 14. Preceding this event, show-days to inspect the goods are from Thursday, February 10 to Sunday, February 13 and is held in the Art Church, located opposite the Museum. Also, on Sunday February 13, an exhibition is opened in Gallery Intermezzo, showing art, produced in small quantities. This will last till March 12, 2005

Suitable events are organized around the Auction. We will keep you informed.

Admission to the Auction is ¤ 45.- and includes a buffet meal. Tickets are ¤ 20.- without.
Catering is by food design studio PROEF from Rotterdam

Intermezzo is a gallery for contemporary art and design and was started 21 years ago in Dordrecht by three women in an abandoned building, quite a unique effort at that time. One of them, Lammie Snoeken, is still active in the gallery, planning shows, selling furniture, lamps, useful articles designed by Dutch artists, used tableware, vases, but also chamber plants, exotic flowers and bouquets.

The Intermezzo name was chosen to depict an interlude for things to come. In 1987 the gallery expanded further with the arrival of Jolanda Branderhorst. A small space was hired on the opposite side and "Intermezzo" opened its doors as a gallery for fashion designers. In 1990 the gallery expanded to its present size. On the ground floor of these monumental premises the gallery's activities can unfold their well deserved status.

Meanwhile the Intermezzo team was joined by younger co-workers and so it became possible that in this Gallery, situated in the Voorstraat 178, shows are still held and specialized, often unique products of Dutch artists are seen and are for sale.

The buoyant energy of beginning designers, often freshly arrived from the Academy finds its way to the general public through Intermezzo. But more established artists who often had their start at Intermezzo, also exhibit their oeuvre from time to time. The future looks bright, Intermezzo is constantly evolving and the present team is totally committed to its success.

Besides the daily routine at the Gallery, behind the scenes efforts are geared to advance activities in designing. Through these efforts Intermezzo came in contact with the WEB.Foundation project and it was decided to support their initiative. Their organizers and designers are also involved in creating a better world without thought of compensation. After all, the game they developed received the prestigious SAPPI award that made the first production run of the game possible.

Intermezzo and 'FRAGILE' again work together with their Dordrecht' partners, the Dordrecht Museum and the Art Church, who are themselves part of HOFKWARTIER, the cultural heart of Dordrecht, where past and present flow together. 'FRAGILE' shows what co-operation in Dordrecht is capable of.

The designers and artists that take part in 'FRAGILE' are:
Monika Auch, Simone van Bakel, Barryenivo.com, Bedtime for Bonzo, Susan Boer, Simon de Boer (W.M.E.V.V.J.), Liesbeth Bulk (Bulk Design), Brigit Daamen, Marlies Dekkers, Wijnanda Deutekom, Harald Duerinck, Hester van Eeghen, Simone van Eerdenburg, Alexander Fielden, Gem Kingdom, Chris de Geus, Afke Golsteijn, Marian de Graaff, Tineke Greijdanus, Wopke Grobben, Diana van Hal, Petra Hartman, Hartman en Boer, Maria Hees, Christine van der Heide, Kris Hendriksen, Ton Hoogerwerf (Cubic 3 Design) , Annette Huizing, Cindy Jeurissen, Claudy Jongstra, Machteld van Joolingen, Leontien Juray, Petra van der Kaa, Erwin Keen, Nicolette Klerk, Anne Mieke Kooper, Lukas Kwant, Klaartje Martens, Sylvia van der Meijden, Bea Correa (Mind What You Wear), Chequita Nahar, Lilianne Nelissen, Mirjam Nuver, Ontwerpbureau Vier, Hetty Oom-Mutsaerts, Marleen Oud, Anne-Claire Petit, Elisabeth Rijkels (Piet Design), Moos Pozzo, Uli Rapp,Margo Rolf, Bas Sala, Joke Schole, Jan Siebers, Liesbeth Snijders, Matthias Snoeck, Liesel Swart, Tas-ka, Tinkebell, Thea Tolsma, Martien van der Velden, Marije Vogelzang (PROEF), Karola Vogels, Gerwin van Vulpen and Charlotte Wooning.

LOVE.check South Africa
We've completed 250 printed games for South Africa and this is just beginning.
The canvassing for funds has started. We need a lot of money to print many thousands of
Love.check games for the Southern part of Africa. We lobby NGO's, private initiatives, Embassies and many others. Developing this version has mostly been possible with a front desk subsidy from ICCO.

LOVE.check for the African community in the Netherlands
The WEB.foundation has started with the developing of a game particularly suited to the
African community in the Netherlands. A team is compiling a new picture-story that will be
illustrated in January by photographer Adriaan Backer and designed by Danielle Schaffelaars. It is expected to be completed around February 2005.
This game is sponsored by the Aids Foundation and Abbott Ltd.

LOVE.check for Thailand
We will start in January on a new game for Thailand. Love.check has proven to be a suitable sex educational guide, based on studies gathered during field trips conducted by PLAN Netherlands. Two team members of the WEB.foundation will join PLAN Thailand members in late January to begin developing the LOVE.check game.
10.000 games will be printed as first edition and is financed by PLAN Netherlands.

An animated movie of the HIV virus.
Students of the HKU ( Hogeschool v.d. Kunsten Utrecht ) in Hilversum are working on
an English language animation of the HIV virus. They are guided by a few specialists, prominent in the Medical, Cultural and Social fields. The movie will be extra attractive because Suzanne Lubrano, the best singer of Africa 2003, will lend her voice to the sound track. The movie will be ready in January 2005.

Advisory committee
We are very glad to announce that Fransje van der Waals has joined the Advisory committee.
She is very experienced and has been employed by Pharm Access International since 2001. She designed an inventive training manual on HIV/AIDS for physicians and nursing personnel in third world countries. With this manual knowledge also can be disseminated and tested by Internet.

Auction in Intermezzo
An auction will be held on Valentines day, February 14, 2005 in the Dordrecht Museum of
products by designers who are all active in the field of applied arts. They will donate one or
several of their art pieces. This initiative was made by Galerie Intermezzo of Applied Arts in
Dordrecht. They will organize the auction. The Galerie exists 21 years and the owners/founders are giving a present instead of receiving one. The WEB.foundation may use the proceeds for the South African LOVE.check games. The event will be preceded by show-days in the Dordrecht' Artchurch and the auction will follow a special buffet-diner.
The auctioneer will be Loes Luca.
More information from: intermezzo_20@hotmail.com

World Aids Day on December 1
Members of the WEB.foundation have attended the aids conference in Amsterdam and Brussels. They have made new contacts and have brought LOVE.check to the attention of many organizations.

The Board of the WEB.foundation wish you a happy NewYear.

LOVE.check for Zambia
In the mean time the aids prevention game has been distributed among the primary schools in Zambia by the UNICEF, the Dutch Embassy and Dr. Thera Rasing. This version has also found its way to many other countries by way of national and international counselors. We are developing a new version based on reactions to the contents of the existing game.

Policy 2004
The executive has composed a policy plan for 2004. It is also available in English and French. Interested parties may apply to receive the plan by mail

LOVE.check for Southern Africa<br> A new team starts in April to arrange a new scenario of the game, aimed at the Southern region of Africa with particular attention for use in South Africa, Botswana, Namibia, Zimbabwe, Swaziland and Lesotho. The key team consists of anthropologist Erna Beumers, sexologist Gemma Pagano, photographer Adriaan Backer and designer Danielle Schaffelaars, assisted and advised by Christien Broecheler, Lincie Kusters and the executive.

Newsletter january 2004
The Executive Committee of the WEB.Foundation wishes a happy and successful 2004 to all their relations. 2003 was a busy and hectic year that saw the launch of the first AIDS-prevention LOVE.check game for Zambia. New versions were developed in 2004 by the WEB.Foundation in the hope that children will learn effortlessly how to avoid the dangers of contracting HIV and that in the future, less young adults will succumb to AIDS.

Distributing LOVE.check in Zambia
On December 4th, UNICEFS's Dr. Stella Goings, handed over 8.000 LOVE.check games to Mrs Barbara Chilangwa, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Education, at a press conference in Lusaka. His Excellency Mr. Peter Schonherr, Ambassador of the Netherlands also gave a speech expressing the hope that LOVE.check will prove to be a support in the battle against HIV/AIDS. Newspapers, radio and TV spend much attention to LOVE.check at the press conference. UNICEF distributes the games to the primary schools in Zambia. The Dutch Embassy looks after distribution among their relations and programmes. Anthropologist Dr. Thera Rasing takes care of dispersing the game in Mufulira, a town in the Copperbelt region where she researched the test game.

Developing a new game
In 2004 a new game will be augmented for the Southern part of Africa and for the Netherlands. For this a new team has been assembled consisting of a designer, a photographer, an anthropologist and a sexologist. The LOVE.check game already circulates in (among others) South Africa, Ghana, Tanzania, Senegal, Cameroon, Brazil and Gambia. All reactions to this game contribute to the structure of a new scenario for subsequent versions. There is unanimous and positive approval for LOVE.check as an information source.

Attracting Funding
Money is needed for the new versions of LOVE.check. This month we'll start to canvass.

Website
During January of this year this Website will be enlarged. The LOVE.check game will be placed on this site so that everyone can download and print it out. The manufactured game can never reach everyone, but with this digital version many Non-Governmental Organizations, schools, clinics and others have the opportunity to print the game. By gluing the pictures on cardboard or plywood the game is ready to be played.

Public Relations
The Foundation has brought out a colorful folder to supply information about LOVE.check and to obtain donations.
